In the partnership projects MET Norway use only open source tools. All are available at Github and free to use. These tools are in-house developed at MET Norway and in daily use by meteorologists and researchers.
To analyze and assess meteorological information we use Diana and Tseries. To find and track oilspill, ships, marine debris, persons, ice sheets etc. we use OpenDrift. To investigate temperature and precipitation climate data we use ocdp and to downscale climate data esd is one of our tools.
